Turtle Hill Folk
Festival We finished out the 2000 "outdoor-festival" playing season at the Turtle Hill Folk Festival in Honeoye Falls, New York. We had a great time playing for the people there and especially with Montcorbier. They are a Canadian band that plays traditional French-style music. These photos are of the "wrap-up" concert at the festival. The guy with the funny-looking instrument is Daniel Thonon. The instrument is a "hurdy-gurdy" and has a very unique sound, especially when he's playing 'The Ballad of Jed Clampett." The crowd loved it! Click here to visit their Web site to see many more photos from the festival, including several of Delaney Brothers Bluegrass!
